The people on the list have truly made this a birthday I will never forget. I have never in all my many years received so many cards and well wishes for birthday. I have tried to acknowledge everyone from the list who sent a card or gift. I hope and pray I did not miss anyone. Below are the lastest cards/gifts I received. Thank you each and everyone. Ruth Soldavini sent a chocolate bar card. The wrapper was done on tan stock with Happy Birthday boldly emblazened across the top. It was beautifully hand decorated with balloons, scriggles and dots. Thank you Ruth. How did you know sweetness is my weakness? Stampcas sent a shaker card filled with birthday confetti. It is a Rubber Baby image of a cake with the center cut away and a hand holding an icing bag. The cake image is stamped in pink on white card stock. On the inside she used a word stamp with a quote from Lucille Ball about the secret of staying young. It is so cute. A friend of mine wants to know who makes the word stamp? Marilyn Roy sent the cutest card on lavender cardstock with pink and lavender mulberry. On this she added a piece if purple glossy paper with torn edges (I think its wrapping paper) she colored and cut out an impge of two girls with their arems around each other. The coloring is very delicate and soft. I wish I could learn to color like this. Thank you so much for this beautiful card. Margaret Addley sent the most beautiful card. She stamped and embossed an image of a wreath of gorgeous flowers and cute it out and layered this onto pink cardstock. She used vibrant yellows, oranges, reds, and purples to color the flowers. She added metallic confetti of teddy bears and butterflies to the front of the card. She filled the card with confetti. She even stamped , embossed and colored a spray of lilies and included it inside the card. That is lovely idea I could always use it on a card/bookmark or something I am making. I love it. Finally, but certainly not least. Last night I received a bag of stamping related gifts from Vicki the Cajunstamper. It is the perfect close to what has been the perfect birthday celebration. She included sealing waxes, stamps for the wax, permanent ink and pad, stickers, laminating sheets, several charms and more. She sent a card with an image of a dressed up fish holding a balloon. The background is brayed in different hues of blue and bubbles are stamped and embossed all over it. It is too cute. Thank you again everyone for the best birthday I have ever had. Nothing could ever top this. :D This message was from LILILO@aol.com - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. Thank you so much. It is wonderful. I have never seen a book like this before and it has inspired me. this book is just beautiful. It is covered with a pink /green iridescent paper. Two big pink embossed hearts were cut out and put on the front and a long stemmed rose colored, covered in clear EP and cut out lays across the two hearts. The side of the book has a bunch of little hole and delicate pink ribbon is woven through these hole and tied in a beautiful bow in the middle. THEN and the inside are pages of quotes and little stamped images to go with then. My favorite of the quotes is : It needs more skill then I can tell to play the second fiddle well. Anonymous. Diana this is just truly beautiful and I am honored.
