They are absolutely adorable! I love those little mice! From Kitty@cmc.net Kitty used a lot of layering in her card. She layered the mouse holding a Christmas bow over her head, with the stamped image of a stool and a huge wrapped present. The mouse is on the stool, taking the bow off the package. This is all layered on a piece of parchment, on top of the card. Inside the card, she has embossed 3 mice with bows over their heads. From Lissa (lissa@dsupen.net) Lissa's card is white cs, with purple confetti stamped all over the card. At the bottom edge, piano keys are embossed in black. Layered with 3-D dots are 2 mice. One is laying down on the keys, pointing upward. The other is singing. She has embossed (in black) and stamped (in gray) musical notes on the card and used a musical note punch in the corners for added emphasis. From Michelle Oakley Michelle's card is a very sweet, Valentine's Day card. On cs with pink fibers running throughout, she has stamped a small mouse, holding a small heart. In the corner, she has stamped "Be Mine" in red ink. This card is so sweet! (Where did you get this cardstock?) From Linda Lloyd Linda's card is on red cs with mouse footprints in black. She has layered a mouse sleeping against some half eaten strawberries and added some red glitter glue (is that right Linda?) to the strawberries. She has also layered the saying "Life is uncertain... Eat Dessert First!", stamped in red ink. (I love this saying. Is there one about chocolate?) Inside, a saying (Follow your heart... your adventure will be unending!) stamped in red ink and layered on the card. From Mary Krause (MY4LABS@aol.com) Mary embossed the Confetti Rain stamp in black, on glossy cs. She colored in the design with markers, and used glitter glue for added "Umph". Inside, she stamped the saying, "If you want the Rainbow, you gotta put up with the Rain", in rainbow colors. I love that saying and the confetti stamp. Thanks Mary! Away from my desk for two days, and 829 messages to read. Thank all for being so prolific these last couple of days. Just got home from my three days of classes with Michael Jacobs, from Seattle. What a wonderful and inspiring time I've had. And I feel so good because Michael was so complimentary about my work. He called me a real artist. I like to burst with pride. Stamping with so many great artists is a real pleasure. And a real perk. I brought my books from the Christmas Book swap to show, and one of the girls sitting (her name was Sue I'm not sure of the last name) near me saw Nan's and said, "Oh, I have this one too." And we got to chatting and discovered we were both in the same swap and she has one of my book. So exciting to meet another onliner. I don't think she's on the list, she's a Compuserver. But don't be surprised if we get some new member this week. I was talking us up a lot. Susan (Airstamper) and I went together. We had a great time for the first two days. This morning she awoke with a 102º fever and her body all aching and racked with pain. She's supposed to jet out to Dallas to meet all you guys for tomorrow's convention. Hope she's better and able to go. I have some great mail to acknowledge. Today I'm not going to do descriptions, but just going to mention names because I have so much to read. I thank all of you for whatever I got from you. CCCC cards from: Toni Brentllinger - YO-YO cat from Limited Editions. Hey, where'd ya get that great cat confetti at least an inch tall. Gotta have some of that. Barbara Meadows - Great Laura Birch Cats and neato kitty stickers. Karen Byrd - Crowds of Klibans I've been wanting that one for a long time. Cindy Fitzgerald I have the cats on the envy, but that silver guy with the shades is magnificent! ] Mystic Magical Mail Art: Cynthia Sillitoe - It's the one Suki described last week. Love it. House Mice: Sandy Lane - I need that cyberstaming hand - where can I get one? Nancy Fortin - I don't remember that stamp in the catalog, and I'm too tired now to go look. Sandra Hampson - birthday greetting card tied like a book. Great idea. Looks teriffic. Martina Gilley - protected by a clear envy which makes the glitter even glittery. No Name - Truly artistic, needs to be acknowledged by the artist. Copper embossed on ivory card with brown frame and raffia bot in the corner. And last, but not least, from the exceptional hostess, Thea, and wooden magnet colored using pearlex painats I think. Thea, Thanks for beeing a great hostess and working so hard to get these wonderful cards out to us. Beautiful card. It had a very unusual corner stamp punch > out stamp. What punch is that Barbara. It's th Southwest border punch from Sue at Wacky Wagon. My fav punch. It's a border punch but when punched both directions at a corner makes a great corner punch too, Barb This message was from Harold Jack Meadows - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. (actually it's a Kitchen Spritzer--ok, say THAT 10 times fast!!!) You put in oil (I put olive oil) and then you spray, just like PAM but no nasty smell, preservatives, or whatever in the heck is in those sprays. You have to pump it (is it related to a blitzer?!?!?!?). Great gadget for cooking!
