What a love-ly parcel of valentines goodies. You selected such great things for me that I left wondering if I know you already. Do I? Just when I was thinking that perhaps you had forgotten me, I get this great package (post marked from Portland Oregon - hey I noticed). Let's start with the box. It's so pretty. These are the boxes that I keep my cardstock and envelopes in and I needed one more. Good timing. When I opened the box I noticed the beautiful bouquet of silk flowers tied together with the most beautiful purple ribbon. I'm a ribbon person so I loved all the ribbons you put in the box. Then I noticed the butterfly card. It's so pretty and delicate the way you made it with the vellum. Next the little glass heart beads found their way into my hands. I suppose you meant them for card making but I like them enough to put one on a chain and wear it myself. Really quite pretty. I can make two necklaces using them with a little satin cording. <> The how-to-make-candies instruction card and example are wonderful. You so thoughtfully enclosed everything I'll need to make candies too: a chocolate candy stamp by Darcies, chocolate color papers (both milk chocolate and dark chocolate colors), white candy wrapper papers, pink liquid appliqu=E9, and cocoa Color Box cats eye pad. If that were not already enough there are two pairs of fancy edged scissors, a frost white large Color Box pigment ink pad, candy red liquid pearls, hot pink embossing powder, candy red ep, and ultra shinny clear ep too. Now I can make all kinds of fancy chocolates. Wait there are even more delights: magnet sheets, a little cupid covered weekly planner book ( I make books and this is just the coolest idea), a long strip of red sparkle dots, a very pretty metal heart (really pretty), a great carved angel die (I don't use the halos system - just so you know), an entire sheet of the whole alphabet in angels (who is this by?), a bath puff, and some lotion too. Not to mention a whole assortment of pink, red, white and lavender card stock, exotic papers, and envelopes...not just a few either...a lot of paper. I hope I don't sound too gushy but this is the best valentine I've ever received. You've really got my number from the toys, to the papers, and the bath stuff too.<> I'm overwhelmed with your generosity and good taste. Do you think you could contact my husband and give him some advice on putting together a truly wonderful valentines present? Thanks, he can use the help. LOL! A special thank you to the anonymous raker! Today I received my 1st rak! It is my first rak and sooo special -- and, it is from the Anonymous Raker!!! Today, Sat. Jan 31st, I went to the post office and mailed my monthly swap group #9 (as well as my adopted Mom) January cards. (At least they will have the postmark within the month of Jan.) I was a little nervous about sending them, late, and yet I haven't received any from anyone in the group yet. I hope they are late mailers like me! After I got home, in my mailbox was the most special gift of a homemade envelope made out of wallpaper from the Anonymous Raker! I carefully cut open the bulging envelope to find a dozen (12) wonderfully made wallpaper envelopes. Each was beautifully made: creased and glued, different sizes, and each was a different paper! Thank you for the special kindness of this wonderful gift! It has been touch and go for most of this month as Tim underwent several surgeries and dealt with other complications from the accident. I am so happy to now report that Tim is doing so much better that they are even talking about letting him come home on a day pass to see how it goes. He still can't walk and will need much more therapy and time for healing but he IS getting better. Tim is truly living proof of the power of prayer and the grace of our almighty God. Thank you so much to everyone who prayer for him. Tim is still on an emotional roller coaster as he is on this long road back to having his life back. I want to give him as many UP moments during this healing phase as possible and I need your help to do that. I know cards would be greatly appreciated and help brighten his days. He already got one from Mona (Cowpost) and loved it. He has such a good sense of humor he might even get a kick out of some clean TTPO's. If anyone else wants his addy to send him a card or other, please eme at TDStamper@juno.com Thanks! I just wanted to let you know that I met one of our own, Kelly Haga on Thursday at Stamp La Jolla in San Diego. We planned this meeting because she is leaving beautiful San Diego to return to Indiana to be closer to family. Many of you who have become friends with her by this list know that she is a sweet, wonderful person, very opinionated (we share a lot of the same opinions, by the way), and now you must know she is beautiful, too. I also got the pleasure of meeting 21 month old, Justin, who is just adorable and heavy...(just kidding). But he did let me hold him+ACE- We talked for about 2 hours and the owners even jokingly offered us chairs to sit on. Kel, I really wish we had met sooner+ACE- But I am so glad we did get the opportunity to meet. I know you will be back, at least for a visit. I know you will miss our wonderful weather here in SD...gee, I would not want to be in the below 0 weather in Indiana but of course, being near family is very, very important... Hope you have a safe trip back to Indiana and e-mail us when you get there... Love and Friends, Sharie Rose Nspired2stamp ssoriano+AEA-clubi.net ...With God All Things Are Possible...
