He previously consented to let me take over that room as a stamp studio. He is dead tired but is slaving away in there so I can get organized. He never asks for anything for himself and is always giving of his time, energy and most importantly, Love. He has been there by my side through the years and I will always remember the many times he was there for me. Like the times he stayed up all night with me when I was going through a rough time in my life and was literally afraid to sleep and then he would still have to work etc. Or the time he took off work after our son was born and stayed in the hospital continously, he held brian and they watched cartoons together! Then there was the time I wanted to go to college but was afraid to go (major problem with crowds) register and even though I tried I came home crying as it was too much for me. He went back up with me that night and stood by my side for hours so I could go through the initial registration process. I ended up graduating many years later with highest honors and it never would have happened if he wasn't there for me. While we are like night and day, he has always encouraged me to follow my dreams, he has never let me down in the over 18 years we have ben together. I can tell him ANYTHING and he is truly my best friend in this world. Yes theres been lots of little stuff, lots of big stuff and yes, lots of aggravation too but thats all part of being together and I wouldn't trade him for all the stamps in the world! Received my first SSS6 package today, and all I can say is Wow! Thank you over and over again! Inside was a layer of valentine candy print tissue paper that hid numerous treasures. First, there were the 3 packages of goodies, one for each of my kiddoes. They are smiling chocolatey smiles of appreciation! Then I found, all wrapped in the same valentines tissue, a package of charms, a box of valentines chocolate (yum), 3 sheets of cute valentines stickers, 3 valentines pencils (Sam says "Oh, cool pencils!"), a package of Vanilla Nut coffee (I am a coffee-holic!), a Snickers candy heart (already been consumed), a caramel/chocolate heart (will-power fading...soon to be consumed!), a really nice card with hats on hat stands, colored and embellished with a silk rose and bow...deco-cut and layered onto green mulberry paper then onto gray parchment card. Then there is this clear envy with a bunch of unmounteds, which is great because I'm planning on getting the HALOS system at the Puyallup convention this May. But wait...there is one big package on the bottom of the box that I still need to open. Let's see....oh my gosh!!!!!! It's HALOS!!!! 4 different blocks, 4 sheets of loop tape, a storage page w/ a tree already mounted on loop tape attached to it, and extra hook tape for more storage sheets, and a catalog from Evo! It's happy dance time!!! And as an extra, my SSS included a tape of my favorite TV shows which I can't get, as we can't get cable out here in the tooley-hops, and DH says no satellite dish (too much $$ to spend on the boob-tube!). So now I can watch a little Babylon 5, Voyager and Deep Space Nine! Thank you SSS6 for everything! It's hard to type while doing the happy dance, but I'll manage. You are too generous! The best to you! Rosemary This message was from "C & R Fleener" - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum.
