(We have Import Outlet, Michaels, Artco, Just Plain Fun, Paper > Zone) Does it work out about even or is it that some things are specialty? You are so lucky to have all those stores near by! I've used one vendor so far on this list, and I've been very pleased with the service and the supplies. I could *never* find what I've ordered locally. I live in a *very* rural area. There are 2 rubber stamp stores sort of "in the area" - I need to travel to get to either of them, and then I have to schedule the time as I work. But they can't be all things to all people, so some of the things I want I have to mail order. So, to answer your question, it depends on what you like to use in your stamp art. If you can find it locally at an outlet store, you're lucky. For me it's easier to walk up the driveway to the mail box. Also, not to diss stamp stores, but generally their prices seem higher (or the mail order folks seem lower?). ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 18 Sep 1997 19:02:07 -0400 (EDT) From: Kathsings@aol.com Subject: RubberTown: Re: RS: RA Swap Proposal-Joseph's Coat JUNE 30????
