I am able to sell the 20 inch by 30 inch sheets for only 17 cents per sheet. I will not be able to ship these sheets flat. I will have to fold them to a more manageable size, like 9 by 12. I will try to find a mailer that is 10 by 15 so I only have to fold the sheets in fourths, if it really matters to anyone. I will be carrying 40 different colors. I do not have the full color chart yet, but know I will have the colors listed below. I'd be happy to make up packets of shades of colors for anyone who might like that. Shari Paper Arts Studio ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 27 Sep 1997 19:14:35 -0500 From: ~ lupie ~ Subject: RubberTown: Announcing Lone Star Craft Supplies (Long)! Howdy Y'all! For as long as I can remember I've loved doing all sorts of crafts. My closets are almost bursting with things that I 'had to have' or were 'a great deal'. I've toyed with the idea of doing my crafts and putting them in a craft mall, but I was afraid that it would turn the joy I received from crafting into a chore. So my next logical choice was to sell the supplies to other craft lovers like myself. Rather than becoming a rubber stamp vendor and competing with all of the wonderful online vendors that we have, I decided to become a vendor that carries many of the different things that I like to do. And Lone Star Craft Supplies was born. The first baby step of my business will be in rubber stamps. I have been watching, reading and learning from all of the posts about vendors lately and feel the time is right for me. My first 'commercial' post will follow this one. My plan is *only* to take orders from this one company, complete it, get a system down and then SLOWLY add more companies. My son is busy designing the web page for me and as soon as it's ready I'll share the URL with everyone. He's just as excited about this as I am! The regular discount for the companies I'll carry will be 25% and I will offer specials occasionally, especially for opening orders. I have also come up with "The Dallas Dozen", enabling stampers to earn free stamps. Everyone knows that things are bigger in Texas, including a dozen! For every 12 stamps you buy from Lone Star you will receive one stamp free (based on the average price of the previous 12). Very simple....and I'll even do the paperwork and keep track of it for you! It doesn't get any better than this! I hope that everyone will give me a chance and I'm sure that you'll be pleased. As soon as some more of the information that I've requested comes in and more decisions are made, I'll be adding quilt and cross stitch supplies to my business. Stay tuned! ~ lupie ~ aka elizabeth herman ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU!!! I can't believe what a wonderful first package you sent! I don't even know where to start listing all the great things I received. Here goes (everyone else is going to be jealous!!): - -a post card of Great Britian, showing me where she's from. - -a bunch a beautiful papers for layering - they are actually paper bags, but in a beautiful variety of colors and patterns. - -a stunning card made by my buddy. Brown craft colored cardstock, on top of that a piece of marbled paper in earth tones, trimmed with deckle edgers, on top of that , two pieces of wheat tied together with a rafia bow, and in the corner, three buttons. - -a box of Legos for my 6 yr. old son. He will love these! He really enjoys Legos, and he's finally getting to the age where he can do them by himself, instead of "Mommy, will you build this for me?" - -a package of homemade paper, very pretty. I especially like the one done with all the polka dot confetti; it would work wonderfully for a baby card. - -20 small note cards and envelopes, in white and ivory, and 10 regular size brown craft cards and envelopes, all tied together with red rafia. - -an assortment of small ribbons and bows for embellishing - rafia, red and blue ribbons, and little tiny gift bows. - -3 ceramic magnets, a double decker bus, a post office box, and a telephone booth. My husband and son both love these! - -a roll of autumn colored plaid ribbon, great for Thanksgiving cards! - -two refillable adhesive rollers, similar to Dryline, one permanent and one temporary. I've been wanting to try these, but never wanted to shell out the money! Thank you! I'm still not done! Can you believe it?! - -a vellum sampler: 10 sheets of vellum, white embossing powder, a sample card from Fran Robertshaw, and one from my buddy - -a brass stencil and stylus - how did you know I needed a new stylus?! My son "borrowed" mine and bent one end of it beyond belief! - -a set of Derwent Watercolour Pencils!!!!!! I've been wanting these for soooo long, and I can't wait to try them!! Thank you so much! - -and last but not least (I think - there's so much stuff, I hope I didn't miss anything!) a box of Cadbury chocolates. Not like the Cadbury chocolate we have here, folks. These are an assortment, with all kinds of delicious fillings!! They are yummy, and very safely hidden away from hubby and son!! Buddy, I can't thank you enough for all the wonderful things you sent me. This one package alone was more than I expected to receive for the entire three months! I will be putting everything to good use this week, because I have a swap I'm in which is due next week, and I also have to make three very special birthday cards, my niece, my sister-in-law, and my best friend. I was told that their final day will be tuesday. The stamps and supplies are getting low but I did manage to find quite a few goodies including lots of vivid and colorbox ink pads and their very last set of tria markers. Since I'm feeling pretty lucky, I didn't want anyone to miss out on the 50% off sale. - -Melanie ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 28 Sep 1997 16:46:33 -0700 From: "Kimberlee Dick" Subject: RubberTown: Grapes Vines & Wines - cards received Here is an updated list of the cards received so far.
