Lori C: This awsome scenic card is made on olive textures CS. Attached to the front by clear picture corners (great idea) is a most incredible stamped scene of a bear walking out of the forest towards a river bank. The coloring is done with something like a blitzer or maybe a stipple bruch. Lori-this is very well done! Thanks! Stampmich@aol.com: This adorable magnet is a cute moose colored with FP> A small red heart hangs from his hoof. The whole thing is laminated and carefully cut out. Adorable!!! Now Im sure I "need" to have a laminator as soon as possible! Thanks!!! OneRmSkool: Another nicely done scene! Boy are you ladies talented!!! This card is made on pretty light blue CS. The front background is stamped with a scene of a waterfall flowing through rocks. The scene is beautifully colored with chalks. Sitting on the rocks is a raccoon stamped in brown, embossed with clear EP and colored with chalk. Above are some birds flying around, stamped in black, on 3-d bubble vinyl. Very nicely done, thanks!!! Natasha Laity Snyder: This great card is made on white glossy CS. The front bottom edge is trimmed so that a red border shows from the inside. Along this edge is a stamped borner with flowers (wild roses???), colored nicely with FP. Above this is a window cut out so that "thank you" show through from the inside. In the upper left corner of the window there is a laughing bear that extends off the top edge of the card. This is very cute (I love what you did with the bear!!!) thanks! Zaynab@eagle.ptialaski.net: This neat card is stamped on black CS. I am totally stumped on how she did this. I'll do my best to describe it though. The front has two moose stamped and embossed with balck EP. Behind them you can barely see a mountain and trees, all stamped in black. Above the mountain is shimmery streaks that look like the northern lights. They are multi-colored, decorated with metallic shimmery stuff (is this pear-ex or foils???). This card is wonderful. Using black on black is very effective, Im going to use this idea! Thanks!! Stay Happy and Healthy! Im really thankful that you waited for my cards to arrive. I dont mind that you substituted some of the swaps for harvest swaps. They are all very beautiful!!! Let me know when you are going to do this swap again. I do have one comment though. You will notice that I got 3 cards from "unknowns" (and two from Debbie! LOL). It is very frustrating when the cards aren't signed by the artist. I really like to know who made each card. This is how I get to know the list members. If I cant put a face to your name at least I can put a card to it!! PLEASE sign your cards. Your work is all sooo beautiful, you should take credit for it. Hi all! I just wanted to know if any of the participants for the Hearts Love and Cupids swap received their cards. I did'nt see any posts. I don't expect anyone to describe all the cards. I realize that I sent them out a little late :-(, and I didn't include any goodies for anyone, but I have everyones address and hope to make it up to them soon. As you may have read before, I've had a string of bad luck, (computer probs) and other personal stuff. But I'm kicking off the new year with hope. If any participants would like to e-mail me that they got their cards, ( a simple " yes I got em" or "where are they".. will do) I would appreciate it greatly. Thanks for listening, Artsy artsy@onramp.net - - ------------------------------ End of rubbertown-digest V1 #109 ********************************
