Bath crystals-they smell so good, I can't wait to use them. 2 gold doilies-perfect for the Valentine cards. Bookmarks, red, pink & purple cardstock- One can never have enough of these. A bow & heart stencil- this is great- I can use this on a wood box I purchased the other day. A piece of penscore w/ instructions- I have never tried this and can't wait. Lost of different colored feathers. Those will be perfect for some collage cards I've been working on. Tiny pink roses. Make up sponges and a few pieces of ribbon. A Valentine sucker for Samantha and some skittles for me. YUM! Finally a wonderful card done by my tribe buddy. On white cardstock multi colored dots stamped randomly- and 3 bears stamped in black. Very cute-Samantha wants this one. Thanks Tribe buddy you are the best. You have sent great things that I can really put to use. Sorry I didn't post earlier-Samantha has been sick. - - ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 15 Jan 1998 10:31:09 EST From: ISTMP2 Subject: RubberTown: Re: RS: Product that *should* exist, even if it doesn't already Wow!! I, too, have used a piece of cardboard covered with foild but the clip board would handle a much larger piece of cardstock. Thanks for that!!! Here is my .02 to add to this idea (we can just keep on going:-) I went to a friends house stamping the other day and she had a nice white cutting board on her stamping area. I asked her what it was for and she informed me that it was used for embossing and that it protects her working surface from possible damage of heat gun. The item is carried by "Pampered Chef". Perhaps you might know of a consultant. Check it out. The great thing about it, is that I am having a party next week and guess what is at the top of my list!!!??? Yes, I am new and finding loads of great tips and ideas on this list. I emboss a lot and will use this immediately!!! I used a cutting board with a handle for a while but it started to warp and then it disappeared. Thanks for the input. Keep it coming!!! Before I ask my question, I want to thank all of you for the excellent tips I have been reading over the past few days, as a somewhat new stamper, I really appreciate even the "old" ideas that have been posted!!! I especially like the clipboard covered with foil idea....and am going to buy a clipboard today, so I can use it for that purpose!! My question (sorry if it sounds dumb) is about the balloon filled with stuff. From what I have been reading, it sounds like you need a fairly sturdy balloon (helium quality) is that right? Also, is the balloon filled with any air at all, or do I need to push all of the air out? I love to create unusual backgrounds, and can't wait to try this for an upcoming swap. Thanks again everyone!
