Why would anyone pay to get a copy of my website on cd, that is 3 months or more old when they can look at it directly. I know that not everyone has access to the web, but at $40 a year for the magazine--which can only hold about 50 or so good web sites, it seems like that $40 would go a long ways to paying for a ISP. There is an ad running right now on the radio for a full service, unlimited use, ISP here in Minneapolis, MN for $6.95 a month no setup fees. Would someone tell me what I'm missing here, that I should be spending hundreds of dollars to have an old copy of my website on cd? Please email me privately. You can twist it around a toothpick or a shiskabob and it looks like a teeny tiny spring. It's thin enough when you pull one strand out to go through button openings or even small bead openings. Some Ideas on Uses As little streamers in shaker cards - sort of like the kind you would see during New years - since they are so many colors - you can put really small pieces and curl them and it would look similar to shaking streamers. Here are some ideas I've been given - some I remember who gave them to me & others I forgot - I apologize. If you know it was you who gave me the idea please let me know and I'll make sure you get credit for it. (Thanks) Stamperella - I used the fun wire to make lassos with. The yellow with the grey wound around it looked like rope to me. Great lassos! Impress of the Night - book binding Twist it around a toothpick or a shiskabob and it looks like a teeny tiny spring. Thread Jewelry With It. You can take several strands and twist them all different ways and makes very interesting looking abstracts. Tonya (I hope I'm right) suggested using the wire as handles for easter baskets on cards. Someone whos name escapes me (SORRY!) - suggested I tie it at the end of a balloon which I've done and it looks great - I've taken it one step further and tied it to a balloon and then tied it to a character and it looks like a kite. Kite Wires on Cards Tie it around a small bag (or large) and then curl it - fill with goodies and color cordinate. Nancie Wiley - God's Eye & Friendship Bracelets Amy - babegoose@aol.com - Great for flower stems on cards. Holly Holden - Great for springy doll hair on country sets. Joyce Tubbs - Coil around a small nail to make a curly telephone cord for a telephone card. I hope these ideas help you and if you come up with any let me know - I'll gladly add your name to the list. If you'd like more information e-mail me privately. You can get a free sample by including a SASE with a stamped card or an unmounted. I'll get it out as soon as I receive your request. If you'd like to trade I"ll send a large quantity out for $10.00 worth of any rubber related products you may have - unmounted, old stamps, brushes, embossing powders, etc., etc. Please include $3.00 shipping. I also started carrying a new wire that is much much thicker than this fun wire and only comes in primary colors - it's Called Baby Wire. If interested let me know. You can get a free sample by including a SASE with a stamped card. I'll get it out as soon as I receive your request. _____________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. With all the comments about vendors, problems and complaints, I just wanted to let everyone know that as a newbie I took a chance and ordered from Wenonah (Rubberd) and I am soooo glad I did! She responded to every note to her, sent my order out fast and included a little gift each time I''ve ordered something. I would recommend her to anyone and vouch that her prices are VERY reasonable! Thanks Wenonah! Also, I ordered cardstock from Paper Palette in Hawaii, and was very pleased with their service as well! The cardstock arrived within 14 business days in good condition considering our mail service (the corners were slightly bent from the mailhandling) but otherwise perfect! I loved the colors in the sampler and as an additional surprise, I found some clear vellum stuffed in the middle! How neat! and Thanks! I had never seen it before and didn't know where to get it but had wanted to try since reading so much about it. I would certainly order from them again! Just wanted to show my appreciation to these vendors and let everyone know. I am not associated with either one nor am I being paid to make these statements (in case someone wonders) Happy Stamping! Now I unwrap three separate packages of papers and cards!! 1) heavy weight translucent paper, 2)handmade cards and envy's with blossoms and grasses 3) cork papers with background color peeking through.(I am so-o intrigued by the cork paper.) There are three pieces of double sided 1/8" foam,(can you suggest some favorite uses for this?)and more die cut designer edged cards...in soft yummy parchment tones. Oh and the Stampers Sampler you sent has some great ideas. One I want to try is a bowl painted and stamped with primative designs. I aso received a yard of scallop edge tape and a whole bunch of sparkly stuff called Shimmering Leaves! Is this an ep or a glitter product? It is really pretty.Scattered through the package was lots of yummy candies (some in in foil wrappings)...I am thinking I can put the foil to some good use too! You can e-mail her at suzanne@castampin.com DeNami is also pretty too lots of florals! For houses, check out Stamps Happen. I got all these cattys from CA STampin!
