As my health continutes to challenge me it is nice to know that I have special friends who are thinking about me. We are moving in 2 weeks. Carole Mork: Carole you have such a terrific sense of color (you also have a terrific supply of wallpaper!LOL). This cards is so beautiful!!!! This cards is made on a deep ruby colored CS. The front has a diamond shaped piece of wallpaper that has light green, rose, gold and pale pink swirls through it. The edge of the wallpaper is detailed with a thin line of gold glitter. Off set on top of this is a square of rose and pale pink wallpaper (that matches the layer underneath perfectly). This is also edged with gold glitter. On top of this is a diamond shaped piece of light green linen CS (also matches the bottom layer perfectly!) that is trimmed with FS. The edge of this is sponged with a ruby ink that matches the main card perfectly! Stamped on this is "Thinking of you" embossed with gold EP. The "Wallpaper Queen strikes again!" Carole, your wonderful messages, concern and happy thoughts have been so greatly appreciated. Thanks so much! Glenyce!: This adorable card came in a clear envelope filled with little red metallic confetti's. The card is made on white speckled CS. The front is stamped with a "Precious Moment" image of a little girl and her puppy looking at sunflowers (my favorite flower!). This is embossed with black Ep and beautifully colored with FP. I love this stamp, I must have it!!! The front also says "Best wishes" and the inside "May good health be yours again soon". Now.... did you do the writting yourself?? The lettering is really nice. I love it. Is it computer generated???? If so, what font is it. Thanks Glenyce!!!!! Karen Stewart: This card is so beautiful!!! It is so well done! The card has a outer layer of thick vellum. The front is dry embossed with a large checkered like design that runs off the edges of the vellum. In each large sqaure is a stamped image of two rose buds colored with pencils. These also are stamped so that the ones on the edge of the card run off the edge. The inside layer is dusty rose on the outside and white on the inside. The rose color shows nicely through the vellum. The inside has a neat postage style stamp that says "RAK DELIVERY, randon act of kindness post" I want this stamp!!!!!! Thanks Karen!!! Barbara Meadows: A postcard!!!! The front of this light brown postcard has a layer of white that has the corners punched with a beautiful CP. It is stamped with an adorable little girl sitting down. She has these huge feet that say "Just sitting here" on the left one, and "thinking of you" on the right. Above this is a computer generated brightly colored sticker that has a border that has three little hearts in the corner, each edge has "A Random Act of Kindness". The inside of the border reads "Consider yourself RAK'D! At this moment in another little corner of the workd, someone is thinking of you! Sheryl Davis'97" Neat!!!! This is great, thanks Barbara! Ant Judy Hornbrook:This beautiful card is made on dark green CS. On the front is a layer of white glossy CS that is stamped with ligth purple pansies and trimmed with FS. This layer forms a border for a layer of a peachy-yellow paper that is sponged around the edges with yellow. In the center is a beautiful image of a victorian style angel sitting on a pansy stem, painting the pansy. It is beautifully colored with pencils. I have never seen this stamp before and am in love with it. It is so elegant. Thanks Ant Judy!!! Thanks for the nice letter too! Debbie C: This elegant card is made on a rich burgundy CS. There is a layer of white CS that is stamped all over with a really nice small rose. On top of this is a fine layer of a shredded burgundy mulberry paper. The paper is shredded so that it is very holey and you can see the background underneath. Centered on top of this is a beautiful long stemmed rose image that is colored with water colors and carefully cut out. Very beautiful, thanks Debbie! Val Kildaw: First of all, the patchwork postage stamps that you used are really neat!!! This wonderful card is made on white CS. The front right edge is trimmed about an inch short with FS so that a layer of powder blue corregated metallic paper shows from the inside of the card. The front of the card is stamped with a small "Thinking of you" embossed with gold EP. Under this is a large mason jar filled with sunflowers. The flowers are nicely colored with FP. The water in the jar is detailed with a really neat pale blue coating (is this liquid glass??????). This is a really cool effect, I really want to learn how to do this. Raised above the is a tiny checkered stamped bow, that is colored to match the sunflowers. The inside is stamped with a large "Practice random acts of kindness!" Where do you guys all get these cool RAK stamps??????? Sunflowers are my favorite flower, thanks Val! Kim Albert: When I looked at the envelope I noticed you live in Blaine. I got all excited because I am moving about 20 minutes away from Blaine in 2 weeks. I figured that you and I could stamp together. Then I looked to see MN, Im moving close to Blaine Washington! I dont think we're even close!LOL This neat card is made on black CS. There is a layer of a mustard speckled CS. This is stamped with a really neat image of a cat that is drawn using scratches. This is really cool!!! This is embossed with black EP. The inside is stamped with "wild about you", embossed with gold EP. What a neat card, you should enter this one in the black paper swap!!! It was exciting almost stamping with you!!!!! Thanks Kim! Helene Carvalho: From Hawaii!!!!! This postcard is made on dark green CS. There is a pretty layer of a round paper doiley. On top of this is a layer of bright yellow CS that is stamped all over with "Cheers!", in dark green. Centered on this is a cute stamped image of a bunch of balloons tied together with a bow. This is colored with FP. This balloon stamp is nice, I am going to try to find one like it! Thanks Helene, I am thinking of you in the nice warm sunshine while I am freezing my butt off!LOL Sharon, the Mouse Potatoe: The envelope is beautifully stamped with a mailbox on one corner and a cute little bunny in a victorian style dress, holding an envelope in the other. Both images are brightly colored with FP. This wonderful card is made on white CS. The front edges are trimmed with FS about 1/2 inch so that red stippled edges of the inside of the card form a border. The front is stamped with "thinking of you" in purple. Under this is a stamped heart (also in purple) that framesa bouquet of tiny flowers. The flowers are colored brightly with FP. A large gold irredescent bow is attached to the bottom of the heart so that it looks like it is tieing the stems of the flowers together. The front is covered with irredescent glitter. How did you do this (spray stuff????) The inside is stamped with a really nice verse. Thanks Sharon! Linda Hengen (Lindaloo): Linda, I love your Random Act of Kindness Postage Stamp. Where did you get it???? This pretty card is made on white watercolor CS. The bottom edge of the front is torn (nice effect). There is a pretty layer of pink MP that has it's edges torn. Centered on this is a square piece of white GP that is trimmed with FS. Stamped in each corner is a small pink starburst. In the center is a stamped teddy bear holding a bouquet of tulips.This is embossed with copper EP. The bow on bear and the tupils are colored brightly with FP. The inside of the card is stamped with "Have a great Day!", embossed with copper EP. This is sooo pretty, thanks Lindaloo. Reah Feiertag: This envelope is decorated with stamps and stickers! I opened the envelope and was surprised with a sprinkle of confetti. This is really neat confetti!!!!! Looney Tunes!!!! My 4 year old went crazy! The card is made on light blue CS. The front is stamped with tree branches around the edges in green ink. In the center is a stamped birdfeeder that has lots of birds eating around it.The top of the feeder is detailed with white liquid applicae to that it looks like snow and icicles. The feeder and birds are nicely colored with FP. The inside of the card is stamped "hope you are feeling better soon!" in green. Reah also included a strip of adorable little bunny stickers! Thanks very much, Reah!!!! My son says thanks for the Looney Tunes confetti, he wont rest until he gets some!LOL Brenda Volpe: Brenda and I have been getting to know each other through email. It is a treat for me whenever I find a letter from her in my email. What a surprise to find one in my mailbox too!!! This pretty card is made on a light brown CS. The front is stamped with a row of tall blue flowers (made to looke like a garden). Raised above it is a peice of cream CS that is trimmed with FS. Stamped on this is a really detailed stamp of a bunny (dressed in a long dress and straw hat) getting honey out of spout in the side of a bee hive. This is nicely colored with pencils. The inside is stamped with a little bee hive with three tiny bees flying aroung it (colored with pencils) and the saying "you and me... friends we will always be!" there is a little bee flying off of the "be". Brenda, this card is great! It all goes together so well! Thanks! Cissy Olsen: This pretty valentine is made on white glossy CS. The front is stamped with a background stamp of tiny pink hearts. In the upper left corner is "Happy Valentine's Day", stamped in red and raised above with foam tape. The center of the card is cut out to make a window that has a cute little bear holding heart shaped balloon, stamped on the inside of the card. The window is framed with a red and white checkered border. What a festive card, thanks Cissy! Christine Cox: The envelope is made from a magazine page. This is a really cool idea!!! The card is made on white glossy CS. The card is heart shaped. The front is stamped with lots of little hearts with tiny shaped inside them. These are all embossed with gold EP. Raised above the front are more of the same hearts carefully trimmed. This is a really neat effect. Thanks Christine!!!! Linda (Giggles) Skirvin: This adorable House Mouse card is made on bright yellow CS. The front has a layer of white CS that is trimmed with FS. It is stamped with a House Mouse design of one mouse holding an ice cube on his head while another is trying to give him an aspirin! This is soooo cute! Beside them is a little bottle of aspirin that has the fluff hanging out of the bottle. The fluff is detailed with white liquid applicae. The ice cube on the mouse's head is detailed with irredescent glitter. Stamped above this is "want to feel better?" The inside is stamped with "Bill your doctor for the time you spend in his waiting room!" hahahahahahahah I love it!!!! Thanks Linda! Karen Stewart: Karen has adorable House Mouse return address labels!!!!! This pretty card is made on a pale green CS. There is a layer of yellow CS and then a layer of white, trimmed with FS. This is stamped with a bird that has a bandaid on his wing. It says "Chirrup! You'll be flyin' again in no time!" This is a great stamp! Thanks Karen! Robin Cramer: This envelope's front is totally covered in stamped images!!! This bookstyle card has an outer layer of vellum. The vellum is stamped with the Water Lilies botanical PSX stamp and embossed in gold. Raised above it is a stamped and cut out image of a dragon fly that is colored with FP and detailed with irredescent glitter. It looks like the water lilies are colored from the back of the vellum. When you lift the vellum you find that the white CS underneath is stamped with the same image and colored brightly with Fp. It matches perfectly with the image on the vellum! The inside is stamped with "friends are flowers in the garden of life". Robin is another one of my new email friends! It has been great exchanging emails with her. Thanks Robin! Marsha Brayman: The envelope is a beautiful marbled pink (where can I get some of these???) This beautiful victorian valentine is made on dusty rose CS. There is a layer of burgundy CS. There is a tiny cherub stamped in the upper left corner (embossed with gold EP). In the bottom right half of the front is a large peice of victorian style paper with lots of beautiful roses on it. It is detailed with bits of gold EP. On top of this is a dark rose colored heart that is stamped with an image of a doiley heart, stamped in white and embossed. The upper right corner has a tiny metallic gold heart and the bottom left has a little locket shaped charm. The inside says "Happy Valentine's Day" stamped in gold. What a beautiful card, thanks Marsha! Ruth Soldavini: This came inside Ruth's swap envelope for one of the swaps Im hosting. What a treat!!!! This cute card is made on light yellow CS. The front has a layer of background paper that is covered with little black paw prints. On top is a layer of white, trimmed with FS and edged with red EP. In the center is a stamped cat holding a a real heart shaped chocolate. The inside is stamped with "Youre in my thoughts today". What a yummy card idea!!!!
