You don't want your cards to look like billboards. If someone expresses an interest in rubberstamping then by all means give them additional information separately. I think you need to decide if you are trying to sell greeting cards or promote rubber stamping - If the former then the name is enough. If the latter then you won't be able to get enough information on the card to do the job - that's my feeling anyway. I have started putting a tiny label on the backs of my cards which say: Card design: Your name Stamp(s): (Name(s) of the companies whose stamp(s) you have used) And for those who I know are already rubberstampers I may add: Techniques used: Resist technique; hand-marbling, etc. Let's see what others say on the subject. Sorry it took me so long to do this...things are crazy around here. =D From the course description: "Create a fabulous 'floating image' four-layer shadowbox pin with Polyshrink." Basically, you make various layers of Polyshrink, lay them on top of each other and glue them. The layers give you dimension. For example, my creation had four layers: The first layer was the frame. I cute a 6x6" square out of black, and cut a square in the middle, leaving a 1.5" border. Stamped and decorated it. The second layer was clear and on it, I stamped a single black image. The third layer was a "spacer," a frame, basically, with thinner borders. This layer, you don't actually see. It helps raise the 2nd layer off your background. The fourth layer was the background. I did it on white and I colored it with chalks. Everything gets shrunk and then bonded together with flexible epoxy. To finish the edges, we used copper tape. That's a really rough description and I hope it makes sense. I can clarify anything that doesn't make sense, once I have more caffiene and some time. I've got to run off to work now! If you're feeling generous please send an extra one for me, the hostess, and THANK YOU!! PLEASE PUT YOUR NAME ON YOUR ARTWORK whenever possible. MAILING INFO: It's been exceptionally rainy in CA, so please please please do wrap up your artwork in a plastic baggie of somesort before putting it into the envelope, or you and I might be sorry. PLEASE WRITE SWAP NAME ON ENVELOPE!!, also on ARTWORK!! No envelope necessary. Send (stamps preferred-1-.32 cents & 5 .23 cents), $1.01 cash or postage for 10 items and under, $2 in cash or stamps for more than 10, and $3 for over 20 items.
