From: "Total Health Mktg." Subject: (thmi-fms) Happy New Year! Date: 01 Jan 2002 09:14:23 -0700 (MST) I hope that this finds you all doing well, and on the path to restored health. No matter how serious the condition, as long as there is still breath in the body there can be hope. Sometimes progress is not always evident. But if you have faith that your health will be restored, and work toward that end, then one day you will gain that which you seek. Do good things. Leave the past behind, focus on the present, move forward in faith. Today is going to be a great day. Happy 2002. Date: 05 Jan 2002 14:50:43 -0700 (MST) Hello thmi-fms subscriber, Any suggestions out there on how to promote this fibromyalgia program and products? As a person with fibromyalgia, what would it take for you to investigate further? I am beginning to think that my efforts are futile. When Janice gets back from vacation she will share her results following the program. You have a problem. I have a solution [offering a money back gaurantee]. If what you're currently doing is not working what will you do and when will you start? The reversal process involves cleaning up the internal environment, getting things flowing again, and restoring balance to the digestive system. If you have any questions, just ask. I'll answer them if I can. I don't have FMS, but I do have severe CFS .. do you know of anyone with CFS who has been helped by this program? Also, I live in Canada .. can I still participate? Thanks again and keep up the great work! Subject: (thmi-fms) CFS and program Date: 31 Jan 2002 16:37:47 -0700 (MST) Hello Sharon, Thank you for your email. While the program participants to date have been diagnosed with FMS, I think that the root cause of FMS and CFS are the same. If that is true then I think that people with CFS should benefit equally well following the program. Slides 14 and 15 of the Fibromyalgia presentation http://www.xmission.com/~total/temple/Program/datadir/FMS_Etiology/hypothesis.php3 shows where I think the condition of impared glucose metabolism manifests itself as either FMS or CFS. In each scenario the graphic shows how without oxygen the mitochondria cannot process pyruvate to produce ATP. Without oxygen the cell is dependent upon glycolysis to produce the ATP that the cell needs. In order to keep glycolysis going the cell must get rid of the pyruvate and free up NAD+ for reuse. It does this by combining the NADH with the pyruvate, which forms lactic acid. In the case of CFS the body produces too much Lactic Acid. In the case of FMS the cell retains pyruvate and does not produce lactic acid. To support this idea there are two articles that are linked from the text page for slide #15. If you click on the "A" button below the graphic on slide #15 it will bring up another page titled "Anaerobic Cellular Respiration in FMS" at the bottom of that page are links to the articles "Glycolysis abnormalities in fibromyalgia" and "Findings of Autralian Researchers (CFIDS related)". In the first article researchers in France report that people with FMS do not produce lactic acid. The second article Dr. Burnet claims that people with CFIDS produce too much. In the case of FMS there is a deficiency in the enzyme responsible for changing the pyruvate to lactic acid. So how do I account for people that are diagnosed with both conditions? If a person has been diagnosed with having both FMS and CFS, I do not think that the conditions manifest themselves at the same time. For a period they may show signs of FMS. Then for some reason, the cell may have sufficient enzymes to handle the amount of pyruvate being generated and then symptoms shift from FMS to CFS. This may be more than you wanted to know. :) To answer your question can you do this in Canada. I don't think that there would be any customs problems with the water system, and the FIR heater. They are both 110V AC. I will check with the manufacturers of the minerals and the probiotics to see if they have had problems shipping north of the border.
