Hi all, can it really be six years? Has tpdis been going as long as tpfict?

I have spent the evening looking back at early material, and other people's
web sites, and considering how we've all changed over the years... or have
we?

Personally I think that my liking for the show has strengthened. I've done
so many great things, especially this last year, and been blown away by the
new CD's... I joined tpdis to be amongst like minded people and really enjoy
the in-depth debates on telepathy, ethics and the scientific basis of
psionics... When I first joined I was overawed by other people's knowledge
about the show, not to mention the love and devotion they put into their web
pages. I remember posting my first fict to tpdis by mistake because I didn't
know that tpfict even existed! ... I was like a kid in a sweet shop lapping
up everything and not sleeping at night.

I think I've definitely changed. I've enjoyed watching various list members
mature, marry and share... I've thoroughly enjoyed being involved in
bringing the various cast members closer to you all... I'm tremendously
grateful to Wendy for keeping things going and for letting me represent
tpdis to people in the uk.

I feel that the fan base is growing daily. People who, like myself, thought
that they were alone in their love for the show are discovering that others
remember it as they do... IMHO we're closer today than we have ever been to
getting it remade or at least re-shown on TV screens worldwide.

I was scared for years to reveal my interest in TP but these days I openly
talk about it to my students, colleagues and family and I feel proud of the
achievements we have made as a group over the past few years. I've come
fully into the open and feel proud to say I'm a Tomorrow People fan.

My interview with Elizabeth stirred up many old feelings that the TP has a
wonderful message for the world... If only the Saps would listen!!! I don't
think I'm a TP but I do think I'm a person who looks towards a better
tomorrow. : -)

Well, I've rambled on for long enough... My question to you all  (in the
hope that we can get a really good discussion thread going again) is have
your views changed about the TP over the years you've been on tpdis or
tpfict? What was your original reason for joining the list, how long have
you been a member, and why do you stay? Do you think that the TP's message
is as important today as it's always been?

Jackie... who left alone in the house sits in bed, on line, reading fan
fiction and reminiscing... <sigh>

Yup, it's that time again. We're getting older.

Nearest I can remember, TPFICT was created on or around November 2nd, 1995.
We started on the tardis.mars.net server. When my friend (who was running the
server) decided to close it, he set us up on a little server owned by a 
friend of
his in Utah called Xmission.  The rest is history.

Originally there was just the one list. TPFICT was primarily for fiction, under
the assumption that people wouldn't have much to say about a show as long
off air as the TP.  That proved incredibly wrong, and TPDIS was born by popular
demand in December '95.

Thanks to everyone who has helped keep both lists up, running, and active!
I pay for them; you all give them life.

Which brings us to the next point: The Annual Question. Do we go for year
7? Let me know if there's enough interest for me to renew the lists for 
next year.

I think so - and judging from the amount of tapes I am copying, the 
interest is growing (Yeesh, I can understand why people stopped making 
copies... I've bitten off way more than I can chew... and it would help

Wendy, if you even think of not renewing the list, I will personally jaunt
to where you live (mind you I really don't just bear with me here), and give
you a good peace of my mind! Okay it just sounded fun to say. I think that
with Jackie being able to get the cast members to talk to us regarding the
show, and with the CD's being released, it gives us even more to talk about.
Granted we do have our silent moments when we're all talking via telepathy
(which can't be helped) . I think that this has been a wonderful place to
share memories, spark up memories that I have totally forgotten about, and
realize that I am not a crazy as I sound. For the sake of my sanity and
others, please keep us up and running!

Not a whole  lot-- although I no longer feel so weird for being so
addicted to it.  It's nice to know I'm not alone.
I do, however, remember the series a lot better, as thanks to the list I
got my hands on tapes.  I've also gained a better perspective on the
context of the news series and stuff. :)

I've also learned a little more about the different national dialects of
English.  Always a handy skill. :)

Reason for joining the list?  Um-- Wendy had posted a Sliders/New Series
crossover to the Sliders fanfic list-- I was new to both lists and fan
fiction (though I'd been writing Mary Sue type stuff sort of in Junior
High) and when she suggested a TP fanfiction list, I jumped at the
chance, so I was one of the four charter members (and recruited a couple
of the other early members-- it wasn't hard:).

OK, so what keeps me here?  Good friends and an extrodinary good quality
fanfic.  I was completely amazed as I wandered farther abroad in the
fanfic world to learn how *bad* some of it is.  This list has me
spoiled!  
Keep it up folks. :)

questions reguarding Tp for me, cause you probably
know more about it them me (atually you all definitely
know more than me!)  you can all jump up and down
screaming at your monitor "GOD SHE DOESNT EVEN KNOW
THAT!" but i would be grateful if someone could answer
them.  P.S i may start rambling!

1) were the TPs from Outer Space?
2) were hearing voices and getting headaches the only
things that happened to a Tp when they broke out?
3) was it possible for the TPs to use thier powers
without closing thier eyes, i know they did this on
the new series, but i'm not sure about the older one.
4) if a tp was shot and lost loadsa blood, would they
still have to have a blood transfusion even though
they had been healed by a fellow TP?
5) does anyone know the name of Nick Young's
theatrical agency? (ok that was semi to do with TP)

There are telepathic races from outer space (at least in the OS), but the TPs 
themselves were just the next stage in human evolution.

In the OS, they sometimes teleported. In the NS, they didn't get headaches 
(did they?), but they always teleported.

I think they did rather often in the OS.

Yes but as I'm trying really hard to develop a working relationship with the
man and I'd very much appreciate it if people didn't go contacting him... I
hope you don't think I'm being selfish in this. I'm not trying to keep it to
myself but feel that if we all inundate him with mail he may withdraw his
support and there are things that I'm relying on him for (i.e. to help me
contact Kristain Schmidt)

Thanks to my volunteer proof readers the new interview is ready for reading.
There are no pictures as yet because the scanner is not plugged in but by
tomorrow evening I'll have lots of lovely pictures loaned to me by Sammie
from her portfolio.

I hope you all enjoy reading this insight into Sammie's life as much as I
did speaking to her... she was a genuinely lovely and open person and has
agreed to do an online chat like Nick but on a Saturday evening when it's

uldn't she have broken out when adam was unconcous in culex's lab, not wh=
en she was in the cage?  it thought the boys teleported her out of there =
and she didn't actually teleport on her own until she and megabyte need t=

To Wendy in answer to the following question.........

Which brings us to the next point: The Annual Question. Do we go for =

7? Let me know if there's enough interest for me to renew the lists for=20

Please keep the lists going!!!  I have only just found them and with =
some gentle persuasion and help, have started using them. =20

To Jackies' question..........

My question to you all  (in the
hope that we can get a really good discussion thread going again) is =

your views changed about the TP over the years you've been on tpdis or
tpfict? What was your original reason for joining the list, how long =
have
you been a member, and why do you stay? Do you think that the TP's =
message
is as important today as it's always been?


As far as I am concerned it has opened the TP world again.  I had =
watched the old series show and enjoyed it, but had had no further =
contact with it until I went online.  I then did my very first search, =
which was for the 'Tomorrow People'.  I was so amazed to find the show =
was covered by some sites.

I have since progress slowly to joining this list and participating.  I =
also managed to join in the talk with Nick Young recently.  So, from =
thinking I was alone in still enjoying the TP's I have actually gone to =
talking to one of it's stars online!!!!

So, although I have only been on the list for a couple of months, there =
have been so many discussions - the new CD's and the American Tragedy, =
to name just two!  I now check my computer regularly to see what is =
happening to everyone and to keep up with what is going on in the TP =
world.

As for whether it is as important today as it has always been - I =
personally feel in todays world it is even more important.  It is very =
difficult, at times to see the good going on.  But it is there and being =
peaceful and non-violent does bring the best to the surface. =20

It would be so much easier if we were telepathic, but until we do =
'breakout' - being able to keep in touch, through this list with those =
in different countries with the same TP interest, is brilliant.

So to finish with, I will be staying in touch for a long time now I have =
found some TP friends!

Humm.... I think she teleported out of Culex's lab when she and Adam =
broke in. If my memory serves me correctly, she was going back to the =
ship (or something) and she teleproted, and Adam said something like =
'good job' or something to that greater effect. Wether or not that's =
when she broke out, I'll leave that up to debate.

After Beth's latest Reality Check installment, I
almost emailed her thinking her chronology was off.  I
couldn't have been on the list since '97, not four
years, but it's been four incredibly fast paced years.
 
I posted my first story about two months after I found
TPDIS and TPFICT and I'm still plugging away at
stories I had that first year. :-)

I'm so glad to have joined this list and 'met' so many
wonderful people.  I look forward to reading many more
stories and participating in many more conversations
about our favorite next stage in human evolution.

(Oh yeah, I vote 'yes', keep the lists going. :-) )

I don't think this is a requirement for either series.
 I can think of at least a couple of instances in both
series where the TPs eyes are open while they're doing

Good question!
The biologist in me says it would be necessary, but
the biologist in me also says it's impossible to heal
someone that quickly of anything.  If you could

Wendy: I am surprised by the question! We wouldn't dream of closing down 
the list, even less now that we finally have contact (thanks Jackie!) with 
the castmembers and there are the new CDs.
But I do want to take this opportunity to give a deep THANKS to Wendy. 
Wendy, if you need a financial contribution to keep the list running, I 
would be more than happy to chip in.

I joined the list 5 years ago, and there is no list I look forward more to 
reading than this one.
You have all become a second family. I feel the connection between us is 
more than just fandom for a TV show. It is what Jackie called the "TP 
message". And in regard to that, I think Beth put it very nicely:

Hello all, yes it's me again :-D
I've decided to really keep the momentum up with these interviews and to
this end (and with help from Nick) I'm a step closer to contacting Kristian
Schmid, Daniel Wilson and Helen Goldwyn (new Cd's), and last but not least
Jason Haige- Ellery from big finish has also agreed to be interviewed about
the making of the cd's. Mike Holoway cannot be contacted at all. I did try
but it seems too difficult to pin him down (and his agent wants money! all
the others agreed to do it for free.)

So what I need from you is questions for me to ask them. I always stress
that I'm representing an internet fan group and so far everyone has
commented on what great questions they are i.e. not the run of the mill
magazine type questions... So please keep it up I'm counting on you all.

If you can please put them in separate posts or make it clear which question
is for which person.

Were you familiar with the series before you auditioned for the role?

Are you disappointed with the underdevelopment of your character so

and then decides that Adam doesn't want to think about it. :(

I have real trouble buying that Adam never talked about it and find it=20=

easier to believe that it simply never came up in the series.

2) How did you feel about the premise of the show? As the first Tomorrow

Okay, this is probably a really stupid question... but how would
Kristian compare working on the Tomorrow People with working on
Neighbours?
And did he ever see the original TP series when it was on Aussie TV (or
was he completely uninterested in that sort of thing, which he might
well have been...)

Just to be difficult and play devil's advocate a bit, why do you have 
trouble believing Adam never talked about it? I can very much believe that 
Adam never talked about his family or his past. My husband's family is 
extremely dysfunctional, and not only does he not talk about them, but he 
also has had no contact for years. Some people have pains and problems in 
their pasts that they just can't (or won't) share -- and I think that's what 
makes Adam such an interesting character and so much fun to play with.

Of course, not talking about it would keep his friends in the dark if they were saps, but they were telepaths. And although in ordinary telepathic conversation he could shield it, it would (most likely) require a significant amount of energy during mindmerge which he would probably need later.  Not to mention raise questions in the minds of his friends.  I think they knew about his past, but chose to not talk about it (at least not on camera).  After all, in the OS--John's last name, the TPs knew it [presumably], they just didn't use it on camera.
 
Or here is a very weird theory of mine, What if Adam has a sort of amnesia, if he hasn't been able to remember the past for a long time--years maybe.  After becoming a TP, he could have adjusted to his fate (at least outwardly), and accepted his new life as a TP.  
I know very weird and not very likely , but as a plus this could explain why his name fits him so perfectly because he could have chosen it himself after becoming a TP.  He is the First (ADAM) of the new species(NEWMAN).

Well Gary Russell really....well can write about things but not write things. 
What I mean is nothing actually happens until the cliffhanger at the end of 
episode two.  He fills pages and pages of DIVIDED LOYALTY (DOCTOR WHO novel 
with the 5th Doctor, Adric, Nyssa and Tegan) with continuity and he does the 
same with DEADLY SPECIES. Now I like continuity, it really helps put things 
together. But when that is the only thing making up a story...well, the story 
is almost non existant. And there is really very little reason to have so 
many things involve continuity. For one thing, why have the Sorsen villain be 
related to the Sorsen villain from WAR OF THE EMPIRES. In fact, why use the 
Sorsens at all in this, the second cd. I mean eventually using them would be 
allright but let's face it, the Sorsens were not the best realised aliens on 
the show and even seem silly on cd. Everything else is almost filler. Kenny 
having to die? Why? Hsue Tai? Why? And having Stephen the cold bitter person 
he was in this story was a disaster and not believable at all. The writer of 
this cd obviously did not watch the Tp on full. Stephen would never have done 
this to John. Mike maybe? Maybe not. In addition to all of the above, we have 
mentions of  major events from many other storylines (as if that alone 
accounts for us believing Gary is a Tp fan and knowledgeable about the 
Tp--he's not!). In all, the acting was good and the background to Paul was 
good but Ellie? I was not particularly thrilled with her being a travel agent 
but I guess it's different. Trouble is we hear about things that have 
happened "off Cd" so to speak. People just talk about these events. One 
interesting thing is the death of  Hollis---Paul seems to share her vision of 
her deceased (?) relatives. While it can be viewed from many different 
perspectives, I would like to think there is an afterlife in the Tp universe 
(even if I don't like this story being in the TP universe). Links to the  new 
show make little to no sense. Ami or Lisa is Liz's niece? Okay. But I cannot 
buy the Tp not feeling them breaking out or even just being about. I also 
cannot buy the TP not knowing about the deaths of their friends from Earth 
(Kenny, Hsue Tai) and I think they would be linked even over across distant 
galaxies or at least feel it when they died. IN all, I think they should 
1-bring back the two dead characters to life, 2-make it clear that Andrew is 
rescued, and 3-make it known that the Stephen in this story is either a fake 
(android) or rehabilitated after nearly dying in mind crisis. In all, I think 
this story could have been better but it was not as bad as I thought it would 
be. I just think it had the John/Stephen relationship all wrong.

I have been speaking with Helen Goldwyn and she is a lovely lady, she told
me that this next cd is the one she liked working on best... funny thing
that Nick said something similar. It's a stand alone story which is good but
wont help explain some of the plot points left hanging from Species...

But this is not all. Helen told me the wonderful news that BF are planning
to make another 4 cd's next year too! After that it will all depend on
sales. Jason is making money from Dr.W (that didn't come from Helen I got
that from other sources) but the tp does not have as many fans and unless it
looks like a big success he wont continue making them. So everyone please
preorder or rush out to buy the cd's asap lol

BTW both Helen and Daniel will be doing interviews at xmas (all of our
schedules are just too full until then) So please, please keep the questions
coming. These two actors are new to tp but I'd like to find out much more
about their past and plans for the future and thoughts on the tp message.

There will be four recorded this year. The Ghost of Mendez is the one =
due for release in a few weeks and the fourth will be recorded just =
before xmas and released in Jan. They will then begin planning another =
four for 2002. I think that there will be obvious delays to the US =
postal service and as we already know distribution was never BF's strong =
point! ;-) so it may be a while before you get yours.

I hope this isn't an abuse of the list or anything, I'm still learning the
rules.

I just came across a small stash of Nigel Robinson (New Series) books at
a discount/damaged books warehouse store and I thought people on this list
might appreciate them so I have:

3 copies of the Culex Experiment
2 copies of Monsoon Man
8 copies of the Rameses Connection and
7 copies of the Living Stones

to spare. A couple of them are damaged.

If you'd like any of these please email me your name, address and what
books you'd like and I'll email you back to confirm. It'll be first come,
first served. Please don't ask for more than one copy of the same book or just to duplicate the ones you've
already got because I know how hard it can be to track these books down.

I'm not going to insist on people paying since they were relativly cheap
anyway and I'd rather they went somewhere they're appreciated but if,
once you get the books, you could send me a couple of pounds, or even
dollars,to cover costs, I would be very grateful. I spend way too much on
books as it is!

I saw Mutant X for the first time today.  I found it to be a blatant 
USA-channel-quality ripoff of the X-Men.  Entertaining? Yes (4 of 5), but 
original concepts are very important to me - and this one seemed rather 
lacking.

Unlike Tomorrow People, which always seemed to cover original concepts.

The show is produced by Marvel, creators of the X-Men,
and Avi Arad was involved with the previous cartoon
show.  The concept is indeed similar to X-Men, but has
been ruled in court of law as sufficiently different. 
I don't know how much Arad based the show on the X-Men
concept.  (20th Century Fox actually slapped the
production company with a lawsuit for 'potential
confusion' with the X-Men movie franchise.  It
would've been ironic if Marvel had lost to 20th
Century Fox on their own property.)

As for USA-channel-quality, I take it that means you
don't consider USA capable of producing quality films?

Are you aware that the same company that owns USA
Network also owns the SciFi channel - which has
produced some critically acclaimed movies,
mini-series, and regular series (Frank Herbert's Dune,
Farscape, First Wave, etc.).  Admittedly they put out
a ton of schlock as well, but what cable company or
network doesn't? 

(Oh yeah, USA also produces and distributes mainstream
movies under its imprint)

Don't get me wrong, I love the Tomorrow People, but
90% of science fiction TV and films are retreads of
the same basic material.

The TP were no more original in their concepts than
many other shows.

As has been said before the concept of 'jaunting'
appeared in a pulp fiction novel in the early part of
the 20th Century.  (Anyone help me on this one?)

Ideas of telepathy and telekinesis weren't new to
sci-fi either.  Neither was the idea that some humans
were evolving into super-humans. (Heck, X-Men has TP
beat on that by at least a decade)

I have a small vignette in my head that's been waiting
around for about six months or so.  I just need to
find time to commit it to paper.  I was planning on
doing so before the end of the month - however my muse
has been hyperactive regarding one of my other pieces
and rather than distracting it with another story, I
let it have its way with me.  <um, maybe I should
rephrase that>

Aside from the vignette I had a story idea I was
toying  with that expands on the vignette.  After I
post the vignette, I'll see what sort of feedback I
get and decide whether or not to write the story.

That would be *WAY* cool..if there were a Potter/TP crossover...but I have

Can you imagine how the TP's will feel when they meet Harry Potter? They 
probably would feel like they've stepped into a fantasy land. <G>

I know I would, if I were a TP, suddenly attending Hogwarts..as another 
wizard? :) That'd be a good way to merge the two worlds.

I prefer merging two worlds with at least one from another world, as a TP

Sorry, I remember decades of USA "Up All Night" with Rhonda and Gilbert 
Godfrey.  And many of the shows (Mutant-X is a show, not a movie) that USA 
produced were of a slightly lower quality.

That being said, USA has in the past produced some decent productions, but 
far more stinkers.

USA network just happens to be known for that.  And just because AOL owns 
Time Magazine does not make them so much better because of the high quality 
of Time magazine articles... ;)  No non-guilt-by-association here ;)

Ahh, but no one had televised the concept of teenagers handling these 
situations without "adult supervision" before.  One of the key concepts, 
even in the early comic-book X-Men, has been an "overseer" watching their 
every move, keeping a cool head and taking responsibility when things go 
wrong.  The Tomorrow People (and perhaps this is why I like them so much) 
seem ever so much more vulnerable for their lack of an "adult" - even Tim 
is limited in that he can't control the TPs, only advise them.  He always 
seemed more an advisor than a "director" like a parental figure, such as 
Charles Xavier, would have.  Sid and Marty Krofft, entrepreneurs in the 
world of live-action kids shows, still had adults in control in every 
show.   Ultimately, it seemed like the TPs had no one they had to be 
responsible to, but themselves, but in the end, that was the heaviest 
responsibility of them all at times.

True, there were more plot holes than you could shake a stick at, but for 
some of us, even in the 80's, when Voltron was hot, and Michael Jackson was 
still cool, this show spoke in volumes where others failed.

I have a longer story by Alfred Bester that includes jaunting called 
"Tiger, Tiger" do you know if it is the same story lenghtened and

talked to Ami and Adam, and Megabyte, and knew they were Tomorrow People,

I wasn't aware that the story had ever been a short story.
So far as I know, there was only the novel, which was given a different
title depending on whether you had the US version or the British
version, but otherwise was exactly the same.  One title was "Tiger
Tiger" and the other one was "The Stars My Destination".

And I agree, it was a very interesting book.  Read it.  Then read "The
Count of Monte Cristo".  Then read it again.  Fascinating.  (-8

Then a technician comes into the office with special wipes for the phone and
you turn round and say "Clean phone. Clean phone. I've come to clean you're
phone... Every telephone's a haven for countless germs..." Then promptly
stop when everyone looks at you as if you should be seeing a psychologist
not teaching the subject!

That's up to you. A lot of times canon characters (yes, that
means the ones we met on the show) get shoved into the background of stories,
or they only fill very specific, rather boring, purposes.

The award is for authors who did something original or otherwise made 
really good
use of a canon character.

That's another one that's up to you. If you find a writer doing something 
you think is
insanely brilliant or risky, then they might qualify for this award.

That's fine. You don't have to vote in all categories in order to qualify. 
Vote for as many
categories as you want. If you can't decide / don't care / don't like any 
of the nominees
in a specific category, just leave it blank.

Award. As soon as I get that posted, voting will be open.

Remember, all stories in the archives are dated with when the story was 
archived.
Until that list is posted, you can always refer to those dates if in

The cast includes Sarah Michelle Gellar (Daphne) Freddie Prinze Jnr (Fred)
and Matthew Lillard (Shaggy). Filmed entirely in Australia the story
involves the pesky kids taking the Mystery Machine to Spook Island -
probably to pull a mask off an old museum owner!! Keep your eyes peeled for
many cameos including old Neighbour's fave Kristian Schmid (Todd).

This is what it says on the web page I mentioned earlier. I'm not too sure
whether this back and forth breaks any list rules so I'll leave it up to

Programs over all in coming files and outgoing files before I send them.

Welcome to the Tomorrow People Discussion List (TPDIS)!

This list is dedicated to the discussion of the two Tomorrow People
shows, including its characters and actors.

For the posting of fanfiction or other creative works, or for the
discussion of those works, go to TPFICT@lists.xmission.com.

To ensure that this list is as efficient and enjoyable as possible,
please follow these rules. All rules apply to TPDIS or to the
Galactic Federation Communications Hub.

1) TPDIS is a general audience list. There are no restrictions
against talking about topics such as homosexuality, religion, or
politics, but all posts must be kept clean and geared towards a
family audience. The use of profanity is not permitted.

2) Please keep all posts on topic. Off topic posts are not permitted.
Marking a post as off topic (OT) does not make it on topic. If you
must mark it OT, then it does not belong on TPDIS. Off topic
posts include, but are not limited to, virus warnings, junk mail, and
advertisements for non TP products. Test messages are also off topic.

3) Please keep all email in ASCII format. This means, no special
formatting in your messages, such as font colors, sizes, or
interesting type faces. Many peoples' mailers cannot support the
formatting your mailer uses. As a result, they receive unreadable
pages of garbage characters. Also make sure that your mailer is not
sending your email as HTML files. This is an option you'll
probably have to toggle in your mailers Options or Tool Bar panel.
Refer to your mailer's documentation or help file for assistance.

4) Likewise, do not send attachments or encoded files to the list.
The list software cannot handle attachments, and many people do
not have the ability to handle encoding. Binary files include, but
are not limited to, movie files, audio files, and pictures. If your
email program attaches or encodes files automatically, you need to
find another way to get your post to the list.

5) Use spoiler space when talking about the Big Finish Audio
Adventures. Spoiler space is 20 lines of clearly marked, non spoiler
content in a mail message before including any content that
reveals real or speculated details about a recent or upcoming
adventure. Also, make sure to include the word SPOILER in the
subject line of any such message. Published CDS no longer require
spoiler space or warnings 6 months after their publication date.
Further, information about casting, episode titles, or release dates
are not considered to be spoilers.

5) Do not repost any messages. If you send a message that shows
up mangled or fails to show up within 24 hours of being sent,
please contact a list administrator. There may be something wrong
with the list software that is preventing your message from
reaching the list.

6) No spamming. Spamming is sending the same post to the list
over and over, and/or sending many different posts to the list in a
very short amount of time. People are requested to limit their
postings to no more than 5 per day.

7) No flaming. Both the TP lists are privately owned and operated.
In other words, what constitutes flaming is determined solely at the
discretion of the list owner and/or assistant list owner.

8) To unsubscribe from TPDIS, follow these steps:

* Open a new email in your mailer.
* Address it to majordomo@lists.xmission.com.
* Leave the subject line blank.  Information put in the subject line
will be ignored.
* In the body of the letter write only: unsubscribe TPDIS.
* Right below that line type the word: END
* Send.

In a few minutes you should receive an email in response.  This
email may request that you confirm that you want to be
unsubscribed.  Please follow any directions it contains.  If you do
not, you will not be unsubscribed.

If you do not receive the response and/or you are still receiving
posts from the list 24 hours after sending your confirmation, please
email one of the list administrators and let them know what you've
already tried to do and what you still need.

****Do not email the list requesting to be removed.****

The other people on the list cannot do anything to remove you
from the list, and the administrators may not see your post amongst
all the others from the list.

FLAMING OR VIOLATION OF ANY OTHER LIST RULE IS
GROUNDS FOR REMOVAL FROM THE LISTS.
