From: John Webster Subject: (xmcolocate) XMission: Support for Colocate clients Date: 04 Aug 2000 11:29:36 -0600 XMission Colocate Clients, In our continuing quest to provide the highest quality in service XMission has developed a support mechanism specifically for our colocated clients. The email address -> coloc911@xmission.com <- will open a ticket with our 911 system, page the on-call tech, and Kevin Blackham our colocate facility manager. The subject line should contain a brief description of 80 chars or less, which includes the account name and contact phone number. The pager only receives the subject line. You should leave a more detailed description in the body of the message. Here is an example of what a page should look like. FROM: John Webster TO: coloc911@xmission.com SUBJECT: 801-243-9211 john, machine died, please help BODY: complete description of problem... The subject line is sent to the pagers and our 911 tracking system. This paging system is intended for use outside our normal support hours of 9am-9pm weekdays and 9am-5pm on Saturday. I need to clarify that since XMission now provides 24/7 access, via key-card, that it should only be used if there appears to be a problem addressing issues such as our network, power, or if you absolutely cannot make it in. We are happy to help you when you need it, just be aware that consultation charges may apply. Once our new Data Center is completed we will likely have someone on-site 24/7. If you do not yet have a key-card to gain access to your equipment 24x7 please contact me and arrangements can be made. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly with additional questions you may have. My contact information is located in signature below.
