From: John Webster Subject: (xmdedicated) XMISSION: New feature http://chat.xmission.com Date: 19 Jul 2001 14:41:10 -0600 This is an informational message about a new way to access XMission's customer chat room, #xmlounge. While we've run our irc server (ircd.xmission.com) and have staffed #xmlounge for a long time, we decided to make it easy for people to quickly connect to the chat room. Meant to help customers with little needs from time to time, #xmlounge is a nice place for XMission customers to chat with each other or to ask a quick question from the techs. While we can't promise you'll always get a quick and complete answer, most people do. To try out web irc, all you need to do is point your browser to http://chat.xmission.com and follow the simple instructions on that page. I hope it is helpful to some who don't know or care how to use a traditional irc client. Please keep in mind that web irc can be slow.
