Now that Tzadik has released its first batch, we can talk about the upcoming releases. Tzadik is not going to reissue ELEGY and KRISTALLNACHT. These two records will be reissued by a new Japanese label formed by an ex-employee of Eva. This label will also issue FILM WORKS VOL. 2 and VOL. 3. But Tzadik will produce FILM WORKS VOL. 4. and VOL. 5 (I know, hard to believe that there will be four new records of his music for films!). The Keiji Haino has been delayed and will be out in June. In the next batch (slated for late April/beg. May), an Anthony Coleman takes its place: SEPHARDIC TINGE: Anthony Coleman (w. Greg Cohen and Joey Baron) the others seem to be the same as mentioned before: Krakauer Trio Ikue Mori Ruins Arnold Dreyblatt Tzadik releases in June (some)? Shelley Hirsch Keiji Haino New Klezmer Trio EARLY WORKS 1974: John Zorn Tzadik intends also to release some Masada and here are the possible first two candidates: Chamber Masada, the usual 4 + others (enough material for a 2xCD (although it has not been recorded yet)) Live in Jerusalem Patrice. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- From gastarit@comm.net Tue Mar 7 09:22:13 1995 Subject: n/a Hey Brett..You out there ?
